Before you start

• Subtitle contents stay in this browser. No upload or account. UTF-8 only, maximum 2 MiB per file or pasted input. Save legacy-encoded files as UTF-8 first; malformed encoding is rejected. WebVTT input requires nondecreasing start times; equal starts and overlapping cues are allowed.
• Plain-dialogue conversion: cue identifiers, WebVTT settings, STYLE, REGION, NOTE, header metadata and recognized markup are removed. Inline karaoke timestamps are removed. Unknown tags remain literal escaped text. Formatting and positioning will change. WebVTT requires nondecreasing cue starts: decreasing starts are rejected without sorting; equal starts and overlaps are allowed.
