How to use

Press and release keys or mouse buttons; observe held states and wheel direction.
Use Tab to leave, Escape to stop, or Stop / clear to reset.

Input: Activate the area, then press and release KeyA.: Result: Held keys shows KeyA while pressed and clears on release. Escape clears the display.

Before you start

Never enter passwords or sensitive information. Browser shortcuts keep their normal behavior. Only current held states and the latest event are shown; no input history is accumulated.

Frequently asked questions

Can this diagnose a broken keyboard or mouse?

No. It only displays events delivered by the browser. System shortcuts, context menus, mobile keyboards and device limitations can prevent events from reaching the page.
